The aim of our club is to provide a safe, effective and child friendly environment in which the members can participate in gymnastics under the guidance of appropriately qualified coaches.
We operate an open philosophy and welcome the support of parents and/or guardians.
Wherever possible we will enable you to observe training sessions provided that it does not contravene our Health and Safety regulations and actively encourage and value parental involvement in the club.
Our members are organised into groups according to their age, gender, ability, experience and individual needs; coaches are always pleased to discuss the training programmes and every child’s needs with their respective parent or guardian.
Our club is a child/member centred, coach led programme and will endeavour to help every child develop to their optimum level of performance.
All coaches are British Gymnastics qualified coaches at the appropriate level and have been screened for their suitability to work with children.
A Welfare Officer has been appointed by the club to deal with any child protection / poor practice issues. Arrangements should be made to escort each child to and from training sessions and events by their respective parents / guardians. Training times are as advised in the Membership Offer letter.
In addition to providing a safe environment with specialist equipment, facilities and trained staff, for all groups, the clubs future aspirations include extending the amount of time we can give to coaching gymnastics to many more children from disadvantaged backgrounds.
